OUR FIRST INTENSIVE in partnership with FEARless Dance Center. We are bringing you 3 days of contemporary training, improvisation, contemporary partnering, CLOUDS repertoire, and new choreography from Olivia Emert and Anna Boehm.

OLIVIA EMERT
Emert graduated with a BFA from University of Missouri- Kansas City. For three seasons, she danced with GEOMETRY: a project based dance company in Los Angelos. Emert’s main focus has been choreography aiming to build tangible environments audience can feel a part of. Emert’s choreography has been commissioned by Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, The Young Choreographer’s Festival at the Joyce Theater, Lindenwood University, Iowa Dance Festival, Kansas City Ballet, Charlotte Street Foundation, and more. Emert took over the role as artistic director of Creative Intersections after choreographing for the program for three years. After being awarded a two year residency with Charlotte Street Foundation, Emert founded CLOUDS Dance Company.

ANNA BOEHM
Boehm obtained her degree in contemporary dance from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, England. She has had the pleasure of performing works with Flockworks, Fubunation, The Waterperry Opera, Quixotic, The Glitch Project, and City in Motion Dance Theater. Anna has recently been selected for a two-year artist residency program at Charlotte Street. Anna is dedicated to dance being an accessible art form, and has undergone training with the National Dance Institute’s DREAM Project, focusing on community classes for children of all abilities.
